I had this recipe come up in my newsfeeds today and I never ran to the grocery store so fast…. 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️ This recipe is from One Lovely Life
I made mine in my Instant Pot and paired it with So Delicious Vanilla Bean dairy-free ice cream made from coconut milk. I poured it warm over the ice cream, and we enjoyed it right after a big, steaming bowl of potato soup. Mmmmm!
Ingredients: (I halved my recipe)
4 – pears 🍐
1/2 – cup water
1/2 – tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 – tsp. Nutmeg
1/4 – tsp. Cardamom
Do this:
Wash the pears, and cut up into bite sized pieces and add to instant pot. No need to peel.
Add water and spices, stir.
Cover, close valve to seal, manually add ten minutes by selecting the plus or minus button and then select the pressure cook button.
When pressure releases, remove lid and use a handheld blender and purée it right in the instant pot, or transfer to a blender and purée that way.
Note: you can do this in the crock pot if you want to wait hours or on the stovetop just as easily. Cook until pears are fork soft, and purée. Simple yet, so good.
Great post 🙂
